Sunday was surely one for the memory book.  Open Life had our largest Sunday to date with 139 people present for our Easter Experience, “One Day to Change The World.”  So many guests made their way to Easter with family, neighbors, and friends.  Honored to have them with us and hoping to see them again in the coming weeks.

We promised to give $5 to Charity Water for every person in attendance and when it was offering time we also made known that every undesignated dollar that was in the buckets was going to this amazing organization as well.  It is better to give than receive we believe!  On Sunday alone we generated over $1,500 or you could say provided 75 people with clean drinking water in the developing world! If you want to give towards Charity Water through Open Life to help us towards our partnership with them just go here, log in and select strategic partners/charity water.

So proud of our people for inviting their friends, trusting Open Life to be a safe place, and truly serving well to create a very excellent environment for God to make known His plan for mankind.  Jesus the risen Lord, and the promise of paradise for all who call on Him.

What really cranks my tractor are the stories I know were represented in the 139 people Sunday.  I know the prayers that were behind the chairs.  For the 8 individuals who chose to follow Jesus, Sunday was their one day to change the world moment.  What an honor to share this moment with those our people trusted to Open Life, knowing we don’t have it all together and welcome all who are in process to join us in growing in a relationship with Jesus.  I was honored to have some personally invited guests and it was so rewarding to see them choose to call out to Jesus, “Remember Me“.

Here is the astonishing thing…we had more guests the week before Easter than we did on Easter according to our connection cards.   Both record setting days for growth and the makings for a very exciting April at Open Life.

I have to honor our volunteers and staff for making Sunday an amazing moment in the lives of so many, but really making every Sunday the day that could change someone’s world.  Proud to be the pastor of this amazing movement in Bonney Lake!  Can’t wait to multiply into the surrounding communities, saturate these cities with those faithfully living for Jesus and watching the cultural impact.
